Quality Assurance

All Tontec plants are ISO 9001:2015 certified. Some of the plants are also IATF 16949:2016 and/or AS 9100:2016 certified.

Our company strongly believes that a good quality plastic part is not possible without good part design and tool design. Therefore, early supplier involvement is the most effective way for us to ensure product quality. We ensure consistent product quality by applying tools and methodologies such as Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Design of Experiments (DOE).

Metrology is essential for verifying the quality of plastic parts, so we are fully equipped with advanced metrology equipment, such as CT scanner, coordinate measuring machines (CMMs) and video measuring systems. To ensure the quality of incoming materials, we have in-house equipment to measure their physical, mechanical, chemical and electrical characteristics, using equipment such as melt-flow index testers, impact testers, universal tensile testing machines, X-ray fluorescence spectrometers (XRF Spectrometers), Fourier transform infrared spectrometers (FTIR spectrometers), profile temperature chambers, dielectric testers and thickness testers.
